The workers have a half day today and it did rain but this is what her little house looks like after only 4 1/2 days of work. Just amazing she will be in this house before you know it.

  1. nice looking wood–nice and strait–will the siding be wood–how much a sq mt. for this type of construction?–left Mexico and back home in northern Saskatchewan–still lots of snow-
will be a month before the big piles are gone.

    • Hi David, This is the first house we have seen build with a wood frame, most folks build with a concrete frame and then use bricks coated with concrete like the house we bought. We will have to wait until it gets further along before I know what she will be doing on the outside. It was unusual to see that she used metal roofing so near the beach, we were told that it should be fiberglass due to corrosion…so who knows. As to cost per sq mt I will see what Sonia’s thinks she will be paying. Sorry about the snow, Joe and I left Pennsylvania back in 1976 and moved to Florida, I just hated the winters so I have a great deal of sympathy for your situation…thanks for your comments, Nancy
