Our first visit to the Central Market in Salinas was of surprise – it was much bigger than I had expected and so much cleaner than ones we had visited in Panama. First it’s a roofed building but the walls are fence not concrete, so it is airy and all the work areas for fish, poultry and meat are concrete base covered in tile. Very well maintained and fastidiously clean.
The most amazing part is they post the prices for many of the items. That makes it so much easier for me as I can see what the price is before I asked to purchase it.
